Ao Hojo (宝生 青 Hōjō Ao) is an Exorcist at the Kyoto Branch of the True Cross Order and Uwabami Hojo's daughter. Her sisters are Mamushi Hojo and Nishiki Hojo.

Appearance[]

Ao looks very similar to her sisters. She has light long hair in a distinctive style having a hime-cut with an extra-long bang in the middle of her head. Her eyes resemble the sharp stare of a snake. She has only been seen with traditional Japanese clothing.

Personality[]

Ao has been shown to be a very haughty and derisive person, at least in regards to members of the Shima family. She and Nishiki show great deference to their elder sister.

Synopsis[]

Impure King Revival arc[]

Ao first appears with her elder sisters, Mamushi and Nishiki, while in the middle of an argument with Juzo Shima and Kinzo Shima. They are arguing over who's at fault for the infiltration of the shinbu. After multiple insults from both sides, Juzo swings his K'rik at Mamushi, and she retaliates by summoning Naga. Other branch members step in to stop the fight including Ryuji.

It is later revealed in the discussion about who attempted to steal the Right Eye of the Impure King, that Ao and Nishiki were on guard when Tatsuma Suguro arrived, only to be ushered out when the seal around the eye was disturbed.

After the meeting, Mamushi confirms that her sisters believe her version of the story concerning the events at the Shinbu.

Shimane Illuminati arc[]

Ao later appears alongside Kinzo Shima as part of the reinforcements from the Kyoto Branch Office in taking control of the Illuminati's Far East Laboratory.

Powers & Abilities[]

Tamer: Ao possesses the Meister of Tamer, and most probably summons Naga like the other members of the Hojo clan.
