Artemis, of the Bana-Migdhall tribe, decided to follow Queen Hippolyta. She became known as the fiercest warrior and lived for battle. During the Amazonian revolt, she took many lives and killed Phobos, Minotaurs, and Cyclopses. Following the battle, Artemis seemed to have taken a position as second-in-command and involved in security of the island. Despite her peak physical condition, many believed that she was surpassed in prowess by Diana.
In the final battle with Ares, Artemis reconciled with Alexa whom she admonished for embracing only knowledge. After Artemis used Alexa's chant to save the battle, she decided to honor Alexa and try to take up reading.
