Brendan appears in The Vision, in which he battles several Team Magma Grunts with his Sceptile before running into Courtney. She then challenges him to a battle with her Camerupt just as Maxie an the rest of Team Magma leave for the Seafloor Cavern aboard Submarine Explorer 1.
