Lance appeared briefly in the Pokémon Origins episode File 4 - Charizard. He was seen being challenged and defeated by Red, allowing Red move on to challenge Blue Oak.
Dragonite is Lance's only known Pokémon. It was used to battle against Red's Lapras, eventually being defeated by a super effective Ice Beam, winning the battle for Red.
