Cosmo appears in the Guardians of the Galaxy animated series, voiced by James Arnold Taylor in a Russian accent. He first appears in "Road to Knowhere" Pt. 1 where he is encountered by Drax the Destroyer, Rocket Raccoon, and Groot's stick form. His history on Earth and him working on Knowhere are still intact. When Knowhere comes alive, Cosmo flies off with Groot's stick form to warn the inhabitants at the time when the Guardians of the Galaxy were fighting Korath the Pursuer's group and Yondu's Ravagers. In the episode "Space Cowboys," Cosmo welcomes the Guardians of the Galaxy back to Knowhere as the Milano is being repaired while mentioning that the technology on Knowhere is still being repaired following Thanos' attack. He tells them that Collector is here on Knowhere. During the fight between the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Ravagers over the Moombas, Cosmo contacted the Nova Corps and vouched for the Guardians of the Galaxy by telling Rhomann Dey that Collector hired them to take the Moombas to Grandmaster on Conjunction.
