Mary Walker (Earth-12041) from Marvel's Avengers Assemble Season 4 4 001

Typhoid Mary was imprisoned in the Vault for unknown reasons, but, when Yelena Belova arrived at the prison with Captain Marvel and Wasp, Carol recognized her. She was later released by Yelena to help her escape, but the planned was thwarted by the two Avengers.[1]

Powers and Abilities[]

Typhoid Mary is a mutant[23] and possesses a number of powers. The effectiveness of her powers differs on which personality is in control. "Innocent Mary" and "Walker" typically has no access to her powers. Typhoid, Bloody, and Mutant Zero all access her telepathy, telekinesis, and pyrokinesis to varying degrees. Although Mary cannot access her powers, Typhoid has occasionally expressed their powers through Mary while Mary was in control, and without Mary realizing it.[5]

  • Pyrokinesis: She has the power to ignite, extinguish, and control/manipulate fire.[28]
  • Telekinesis: She can levitate small objects over short distances (such as weapons of under 10 pounds; knives, razors, etc.), making a knife spin in place or retrieving her weapons if they are dropped.[28] Her "Bloody Mary" persona often gathered and assembled small metal objects into improvised battle-armor.[17]
  • Telepathy: She can implant mental suggestions in the minds of others. She can induce sleep in weak-minded individuals and most animals, or create "sensory ghosts" as a distraction, causing people to look away because they think they saw a flash or heard a noise. Typhoid can compel people to take simple actions without thinking about it, like reaching for a blade or kissing her, letting her predict their next move or guide them into traps. She has the power to psionically seduce men, using a combination of behavioral psychology and telepathi prods to make them quickly become obsessed and fall in love with her.[28]

Abilities[]

Mary seems to be very skilled in martial arts and the use of edged weapons.[5]

Weaknesses[]

Dissociative Identity Disorder: Mary Walker had three distinct personalities. The "Mary" personality is a timid, quiet, pacifist; her "Typhoid Mary" persona is adventurous, lustful, and violent; her "Bloody Mary" personality is sadistic, brutal, and misandrist. Typhoid was so different than Mary, that even Daredevil was, at first, unable to tell they were the same person, even with his enhanced senses.[5]
