Ziro the Hutt was an uncle of Jabba the Hutt who aided in the kidnapping of Jabba's son to become leader of the Hutt Clan. He was in love with Sy Snootles, who eventually ending up killing him for breaking her heart. He paid Cad Bane to free him out of jail by threatening the Senator's lives. He was in Republic Prison twice, both managing to get free. In his last episode Cad Bane and Sy Snootles were sent to capture or kill him, and retrieve the Holo-diary. Sy succeeded, and giving the holo-diary to Jabba the Hutt.
