Kanoto

Kanoto (辛, Kanoto) is a member of Konohagakure's Anbu faction Root.

Background

To prevent Hiruzen from being reinstated as Hokage,Danzō gave Kanoto and nine other Root members a mission to assassinate him. Disguised as a foreign shinobi, he fought the Anbu accompanying his target, who turned out to be a disguised Kakashi, resulting in the mission's failure.

Appearance

Kanoto is a tall shinobi, with standing, medium-length brown hair. He wears a standard Anbu attire, an his mask has dark blue markings.

Abilities

As an Anbu, Kanoto is a presumably a powerful shinobi. He wields a sword, indicating skills inkenjutsu. He could also coat his hands in chakra, augmenting the impact of his taijutsu-attacks.

• Kanoto's name was only divulged in a Studio Pierrot Settei of Root members.
