Mirage Mewtwo is a fake Pokémon that serves as the secondary antagonist in the special Pokémon episode The Mastermind of Mirage Pokémon. It was created by Dr. Yung so he can take over the world.
History
Dr. Yung created a mirage version of Mewtwo by using the data being extracted by many computers worldwide to Dr. Yung's castle. He considered the Mirage Mewtwo to be the most powerful Mirage Pokémon ever. Ash and his friends try to stop him with, with Ash using his Pikachu, Oak using his Dragonite, Misty using her Gyarados, and May using her Combusken. All of them attacked Mewtwo, but the Mirage Mewtwo easily managed to defeat Professor Oak's Dragonite, Misty's Gyarados, and May's Combusken. leaving only Ash and Pikachu to take care of it and Dr. Yung on their own. With the Mirage Mew's help of holding back Mewtwo, Pikachu was able to defeat the Mirage Mewtwo (and Mew as well), thus destroying the systems.
