Mr Mind BTBATB 001

The most evil of Venusian worms set his sights on Earth, a planet once ruled by his race before the first Ice Age. While most of the worms communicated by feeler, he seemed to have developed super powers and a yearning for conquest. He stowed away on the Magellan space probe and made it to Earth where he was called "Mr. Mind" by Dr. Sivana. Mind began to wear a miniaturized transmitter called a talk box so that lesser beings could hear his voice as he is a two inch worm. He suffers from myopia and requires corrective lens to fix the nearsightedness. Mr. Mind joined Dr. Sivana's Monster Society of Evil.

After Dr. Sivana and the Monster Society of Evil ran into Batman and the Marvel Family, Mr. Mind made his move to assume leadership of the group. He challenged Dr. Sivana by claiming he could increase the power of the death ray by 100 fold and defeat the Marvel Family. Mr. Mind was quickly voted as the new leader. He continued the group's search for parts to complete the death ray at the Fawcett City Hadron Collider and they stole a fusion chamber. At the facility, Mr. Mind flew into each of the Marvel's ears and used thought control to turn them against each other. Mr. Mind secretly converted the death ray into a growth ray and anticipated Dr. Sivana would try to double cross him. When Mind announced the ray's completion, Sivana attacked him with the ray as predicted. Mr. Mind was advanced into a giant monstrosity and his powers were increased 100 fold, as well. Despite being de-aged into a baby, Batman switched the polarity of the growth ray and returned Mr. Mind to his normal form. Captain Marvel Junior then apprehended Mr. Mind.
