Myron (Japanese: ハッサク Hassaku) is the character of the day who appeared in the episode Fight for the Light!. He is Olivine City Gym Leader Jasmine's grandfather.
He helped Jasmine to take care of Sparkle when it was ill. Later, he advised Ash to challenge the Cianwood Gym before challenging Jasmine, to give her time to get ready for battle.

- His shirt is printed with oranges, which may be a reference to his and his granddaughter's Japanese names—Hassaku and Mikan respectively—both of which are types of citrus fruits.
